ARISE is a girls conference happening in the heart of Vancouver. The purpose of this conference is to address issues that girls are facing that are too often ignored or mishandled and as a result have led to shame and feeling as though they are alone in what they are dealing with; we want to put an end to that!
We want to bring these topics into the light and empower girls. Our determination is to let girls know that although they may be facing the issues we aim to address-mental illness, self harm, worthiness, self image and identity to name a few-and feel ashamed or broken, that they would be able to ARISE from those circumstances with the understanding that they are valued, strong, and not alone. Girls in grades 8-12 are invited to attend this event from all over the Lower Mainland!
